A trip, reassurance, bubbles

Three beautiful things this week:

1. A successful research trip to London, the highlight of which was catching up with good friends and the purchase, at last, of some divine Monmouth decaf coffee beans.

2. Knowing that the NHS, and especially your GP, can be relied upon to provide reassurance over the phone that you are, as you thought, just suffering from swollen and burst blood vessels in your nose, and that the blood you coughed up that morning was probably not something more serious. This is also coincidentally a slap in the face to the doctor I interviewed this week, who dissed GPs from his palatial west end private surgery.

3. My new bedtime routine in a bid to encourage a restful night, i.e. a relaxing bubble bath.
