Today sees the launch of Vanja Contemporary, a curated online art space designed for aspiring art collectors, created and led by our wonderfully talented friend (and best man at our wedding) Christopher Vanja.
Vanja Contemporary specialises in limited editions of conceptual photography and other print based artwork – all numbered and signed by the artist, and affordably priced for those looking to dip their toes into the world of contemporary art collection.
Current artists include Edurne Aginaga, whose conceptual series Lie Down has been shortlised as one of the Top 3 Finalists of the Conceptual Photography category of the prestigious 2013 Sony World Photography Awards; John Pakapoukas, an established Brighton-based artist whose works have been selected as Winners in the mixed media category at the 2011 and 2012 Showcase Awards of Artslant Worldwide; and our friend Philipp Haffner, some of whose mind-blowing, multi-layerd mind maps already grace the walls of Scheding Towers (Vertigo series, in case you were wondering).
You can purchase artwork via the online shop or you can contact Vanja Contemporary personally for some hands on collection advice. Go check it out now!
