Tourist

Under the bluest of skies we headed out early this morning. Stopping briefly to pick up a slice of organic bacon quiche from the harbourside market, we made our way up Park Street and then along the top of the Christmas Steps to Stokes Croft. Brunch at The Canteen, a wander around the old city and a stroll back through the docks brought us full circle.

I still feel like a tourist here. The camera around my neck doesn’t help. I can’t quite believe that we get to call this beautiful, culture bursting, independents loving, sunny city our home.

  1. I used to live down that street when I was in my late teens!!!!

I was born and raised in Bristol. It is hands down the best city in the UK. Enjoy exploring it.

    1. Hi Leanne, thanks for your comment, we’re certainly enjoying getting to know this city. I’m pleased to hear that you have good memories of Bristol as a teen as it bodes well for us, or rather for Felix, in the years to come! Mind you, your spot of west Cornwall looks a pretty spectacular place for your boys to be growing up. Emma xx
